அண்ணா பல்கலையின் கீழ் இயங்கும் இன்ஜினியரிங் கல்லூரிகளில், 2026–27ம் கல்வி ஆண்டு மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கான கலந்தாய்வு நடந்து வருகிறது.
தற்போது, சிறப்பு பிரிவு மாணவர்களுக்கான கலந்தாய்வு முடிந்துள்ளது. பொதுப்பிரிவு மற்றும் அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான, 7.5 சதவீத உள்ஒதுக்கீடு கலந்தாய்வு, இன்று தொடங்குகிறது.

சி.பி.எஸ்.இ., பாடத்திட்டத்தில் படித்த பிளஸ் 2 மாணவர்கள் பலர், மதிப்பெண் சரிபார்ப்பு, விடைத்தாள் நகல்கள் பெறுதல், விடைத்தாள் மறுமதிப்பீடு உள்ளிட்ட, தேர்வு முடிவுக்கு பிந்தைய நடைமுறைகளுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளனர்.

Counselling for engineering admissions for the academic year 2026–27 is currently underway across colleges affiliated with Anna University.
At present, counselling for the special reservation category has been completed. The general category counselling along with the 7.5% internal reservation for government school students begins today.
This counselling process will take place in three rounds. The first phase will go on till August 30. Following that, supplementary counselling and conversion counselling (SCA to SC category) will take place, dates for which will be announced later.
Under these circumstances, according to the AICTE annual schedule, the council had ordered that first-year engineering admissions must be completed by August 14.
In light of this, reports indicate that the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education has written to the AICTE seeking permission to grant an extension until September to conduct admissions.
"Grant Extra Time"
A circular issued by AICTE Member Secretary Rajive Kumar to educational institutions across the country states:
Many Class 12 students under the CBSE curriculum have applied for post-result evaluation processes, including mark verification, obtaining answer script photocopies, and revaluation.
The results for these processes are likely to be released only after the ongoing engineering higher education admissions are underway or completed.
Therefore, it is essential to protect the higher education opportunities of CBSE Class 12 students awaiting revaluation or answer script copies.
In this regard, all state higher education institutions must provide students with sufficient time to submit their final Class 12 mark sheets.
Students should be allowed to participate in higher education admissions. Eligible students must not be denied admission due to delays in post-result CBSE processes
